It’s been a few days since I have written and just so much has happened, I mean, it’s like, whoa.
Actually, no. Not a lot. But I have comments!
1 - holmes over here has the full daft punk coachella performance on his site. scroll down a bit and download it before some cop brings it down. It’s dope.
2 - It was hot as hell this weekend. Like crazy. The car has a black interior so it’s extra hectic but still--ever since I started working out, it’s like Sweat City with me when I start exerting myself or get in the heat. I mean, I hear it means I am healthy, but mostly I just see people wince whenever they put their hand on my back. I...
And that was a week ago. You are probably happy I stopped sweating about the sweating. Or not. I mean, I can go for hours on that, but later.
So things are hopping, kinda. I got a raise and a promotion at work, which was actually the first time something so corporate has happened to me. Oh, sure, I’ve busted raises in the past, and been moved up...well, wait. Yeah, I have been promoted before--it was just a long time ago. Like...1999? 2000?
It’s been a long time since I’ve been at a job this long, I guess.
ANYWAY, that was nice. Of course, it’s like the yin/yang that I have come to expect over the past year, where if I am really busy at work, then the acting is slow. And when I have actually been on auditions and actually filming, work is relaxed. So, I guess it works out.
The sketch comedy group stuff is actually going well; I am enjoying working with my friends and figuring out how to make entertaining stories happen. Not sure when we’ll be up and running to places with a show ready to go, but at least we’re figuring stuff out.
The real news is that I am getting ready to go to the Dominican Republic tomorrow night for Whit’s sister Kim’s wedding. Should be great. The next weekend I am at a wedding in Mammoth...then the next a wedding in San Francisco. Should be fun, should be hectic.
