End of the week ramblings before I go stretch my legs out of my sockets in yoga for you this friday afternoon...
Drove up to SF this past weekend for Michael’s bachelor party weekend and on the way up I found out I booked another commercial. I ended up filming it this past Wednesday and it, too, went really well. I must admit, I am really excited about this change of events. I mean, I booked one spot last year--in the past month or so I booked three. So, good/so good. It’s for Fallon Healthcare in Massachusetts, so I won’t see it on TV, but they will be sending me a DVD of it so I can post it on this site. Soon I will be patching together a reel and hopefully this will help me get some theatrical work (which, of course, is not the same thing as stage work, which I would love to do--both Russ and Nick are rocking the stage these days and I am pretty jealous).
Otherwise, it’s been kind of a random week. I had to take my car in because some coil blew up and I was only working on 3 cylinders or something, which was covered under warranty, but still--the car’s got 20,000 miles, should crap like that be happening? Ugh.
Oliver and Snow had their second son, a boy named Phineas! I talked to him on Wednesday and it sounds like everything went smoothly and, as they say, mom and baby are recovering nicely.
The weekend was really fun. I got to hang out with quite a people I don’t usually get to see, and it was just super great to see all these guys rally around Michael, who has been such a great friend to so many people. He’s getting married soon in Venice, Italy.
Not a lot to report, other than the new gig (I played a very apathetic little league baseball coach and basically hung out with 10 kids all day). I can’t even sum up the energy to get worked up about anything right now--so much crap is going on in the world that it seems hard to figure out where to start, but once I stop sneezing (my allergies are off the hook, thanks to these insane winds) I will write up something a tad more interesting (I hope).
hope you have a great weekend.
